ROCK DA WORLD DJs Daniele Davoli and Chris Lloyd provide the latest in Rock’n’Rave Electro, featuring ‘The Girls’ & Lucy Arrowsmith.
This week:… we have the Electronic Popstar Killers mix from French Duo LOO & PLACIDO, the Mash Up & Bootleg Kings!
Their DJ sets comprise of just that, with home made remixes blending everything from the Chemical Brothers to Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, The Ramones, Technotronic, Public Enemy or The Beastie Boys.
Since 1999 they have produced many tracks, have collaborated with MTV, been voted ‘Best Studio Session’ of the year by XFM’s very own Eddie Temple Morris, and in 2008 were invited by MADONNA herself to perform their ‘Toop Toop Grove’ (a combo between ‘Into The Groove’ and Toop Toop’ by CASSIUS) LIVE as part of her ‘Sticky and Sweaty’ tour. Take it away boys!!

DF staring making tracks on computers in 2002 after getting fed up playing drums in a Spinal Tap tribute band called ‘Smell the Glove’, and we’re sure you‘ll agree after hearing his mix, he made the right career choice!

This week:…we have the CYBERPUNKERS!!
The “Cyberpunkers” project was born in 2006, from the passion for Cyberpunk culture of two young Milan DJ’s. The concept, in its embryo phase, kicked off with “Sex machine” and “Cyberpunkers”, two tracks released by popular French label “Excess Music” and immediately featured in the playlists of such DJ’s as Pete Tong, Carl Cox and Eric Prydz, raising much attention and curiosity towards the mysterious duo.
Through several performances at famous clubs, “Cyberpunkers” (as referred to by their own audience) drew lots of interest and ended up being much talked about for both their original look, made of masks behind which their true identity is hidden, and for the originality of their shows, which are marked out by the use of two consoles at once and powered by several audio machines.

Having sold over x million records to date, recorded with the likes of REM’s Michael Stipe, and performed with U2 and others on mega-stadium tours, Utah Saints remain one of the most trail-blazing outfits within electronic music.
Currently DJing anywhere and everywhere interesting and professional that ask us,playing mainly breaks, boots,mashups and a bit of drum and bass and electro!
Now ready to take the world by storm once more, Utah Saints are back, and after the success of ‘Something Good 08’ (one of the biggest tunes of 2008) are now recording new material for a studio album and playing gigs across the UK, with a mix compilation also planned before the year is out.
